Installation Steps

1. Make sure to choose the correct trailer tongue size
Before beginning installation, ensure your trailer tongue is between 3″ to 4″ wide and up to 5″ high, as this step system is specifically designed to fit those dimensions. Using it on the wrong size frame may result in instability or improper installation.

2. Choose the installation angle
This product supports three mounting angles, allowing you to adjust based on the height of your trailer bow (up to 43″). Select the mounting angle that offers the most comfortable and safe access to your boat. Consider your typical approach direction and boarding angle.

3. Install the bottom step onto the step post
Begin by attaching the bottom step to the main vertical step post. This forms the foundation of the step system, so ensure it is securely fastened. Align the holes properly and use the supplied hardware to bolt it in place tightly.

4. Attach the remaining steps to the step post one at a time
Working from bottom to top, attach each additional step to the step post. Make sure they are evenly spaced and firmly secured. Tighten the bolts completely after positioning each step.

5. Attach the anti-slip handrail to the designated spot
Install the handrail on the side of the step post using the designated mounting holes. The handrail provides added stability and safety when climbing up or down the steps—especially on wet surfaces.

6. Put anti-slip mats on each step
Finish by applying the EVA anti-slip mats to the surface of each step. These mats provide extra traction, reducing the risk of slipping—especially in wet or marine environments.
With just a few simple tools and the right steps, installing your Boat Trailer Steps with Handrail is quick and straightforward. The adjustable angle options, anti-slip mats, and heavy-duty construction make this step system a smart upgrade for any boat owner looking to improve safety and convenience.
Whether you’re launching your boat, performing maintenance, or loading gear, you’ll appreciate the stability and ease these steps offer. Don’t forget to check the bolts regularly and keep the surfaces clean for long-term use.
